Here is a short description of each of the menu options in the program:-
Wedding Details This screen allows you to enter the bride and grooms names and the wedding date. The names will then appear at the top of every screen and the wedding date is used to calculate the number of ‘days to go’ that is displayed on the main menu.
Budget Planner There are two ways of using our Budget Planner:- Automatically Calculate Costs You would still enter the budget values, but the program would automatically calculate the actual costs based on the values entered in the Costs screen. Manually enter figures You have full control over the figures. You would enter in the budget and actual values and the program will calculate the difference.
Suppliers You can record all your supplier information, name, address, e-mail, website etc. You can also easily e-mail, view the website or location at a click of a button.
To Do List Against each category you can record related information, e.g. catering - menus, reception - table decorations, honeymoon - flight information. In each category you have a choice of either entering the system default information or recording your information using the Notes screen. Every time a date is recorded in the program it will get automatically added to the countdown calendar. As well as the default categories you can also add your own.
Costs For each supplier you can add the total cost, deposit value, up to four additional payments and the remaining balance. The total cost will be displayed against the category in the Budget Planner screen (if you choose the Automatically Calculate Costs option) If you enter any payment due or paid dates then they will be automatically added to your Countdown Calendar, therefore you won't miss any payment deadlines.
Guests and Seating Plan You can record all your guest information, e.g. name, address, attendance (hen night, wedding ceremony, evening reception etc), dietary information. You can also record if an invitation has been sent and an RSVP received. The seating plan screen will only list those guests who are attending the wedding breakfast and it will list them in families which will make seating them easier. It will also alert you if you try to sit too many people to a table.
Checklist You can add as many checklists as you need, these can be anything from things to do 6 months before the wedding to a list of documents that you need to take to the registrar.
Countdown Calendar You can view all your tasks or just those within a date range. If you have entered any dates against your To Do List or Costs then they will be displayed against the relevant date. You can also manually add your own entries. When a task has been completed you can change the N to a Y in the completed column.
Day Planner This is the itinerary of the wedding day itself. You can create as many plans as you require and enter as many tasks as you need. You may want to enter a plan for the bridesmaids, best man and photographer as well as the bride.
Reminders You can set yourself reminders which will appear when you load the program on and after the date that you specify. These can be whatever you like, just enter your own text and the date you want the reminder to appear on. They will continue to appear until you choose to not show them.
Backup You can use this screen to backup your data to your chosen destination.
